We offer regular and one-off servicing options - essential to keep your bike running smoothly - as well as repairs for when things go wrong and you just want to get back in the saddle as quickly as possible.​

Servicing
Regular servicing and continued inspections are key to keeping your bike running smoothly.
Routine maintenance reduces the need for emergency repairs, and keeping up with day to day tasks can save money on more costly work which might be needed later.

Basic Service: £70 (at first 6 months or 1,000 miles whichever comes first. Then carried out between Regular Service).

Regular Service: from £80 (every 12 months or 2,000 miles, whichever is sooner).

Overhaul service: from £125 (every 24 months or 4,000 miles, whichever is sooner).

Bosch motor service: from £100.

Internet bike safety check (to check your eBay purchase is good to go): from £65.

Bosch eBike diagnostics, service and warranty replacements: from £65.

Repairs
Nick’s Mobile Bike Surgery can carry out most bike repairs at your home, but we need to see the bike to diagnose what’s wrong. We'll come to your home (or wherever you need us) and make a detailed inspection before providing you with an estimate of the cost of the work needed.
Some common repairs include:

Brake service (brake adjustment, clean, inspect/replace pad and lubricate calliper): from £25.

Gear service (inspect, adjust and lubricate shifters, cables and derailleurs): from £25.

Chain and cassette/freewheel replacement (it is recommended that these are replaced as a pair to stop slipping and reduce rapid wear): £25.

All other repairs are available and will be quoted for once your bike has been inspected. Parts are not included in the prices above.

Minimum charge: we levy a minimum charge of £25 to provide a detailed report on your bike's condition on any callout (this is removed from your final bill if you choose to proceed with any work).
